(August 11, 2015) –Tonight at 9 p.m. (weather permitting), the Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (SHA) will temporarily close lanes on the inner loop of the I-495 (Capital Beltway) bridge over Suitland Road in Prince George’s County.
Crews will close one lane at 9 p.m., two lanes at 10 p.m. and three lanes at 11 p.m. All lanes will reopen no later than 5 a.m. Wednesday morning. The overnight lane closures will allow crews to safely repair a deck puncture discovered during routine maintenance operations. The work was originally scheduled to take place last week but is rescheduled for tonight.
In addition to this project, drivers may also encounter mobile or short-term work zones.

Think Orange (the color of construction equipment and signs), stay alert and slow down. Everyone is at risk.
