Anne Arundel County
• Outer loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) ramp to northbound MD 170 (Camp Meade Road) – Concrete patching – Temporary ramp closure and detour from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
Frederick County
• I-70 at MD 75 (Green Valley Road) - Utility work - Sunday, July 20, between 5 a.m. and 8 a.m., temporary traffic stoppages lasting up to 30 minutes, for traffic in both directions on I-70 and on the on-ramps, to allow utility crews to install a fiber optic line.
• US 15 (Catoctin Mountain Highway) at Motter Avenue – Bridge replacement project – Lane closures and temporary traffic stoppages lasting up to 15 minutes while crews install bridge deck pans, Between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., Sunday July 20 through Thursday, July 25. Beginning on northbound side on Sunday night and moving to southbound later in the week.
Howard County
• I-95 between MD 216 (Scaggsville Road) and the Prince George’s County line – Resurfacing – Double right lane closures from 7 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
• Single-lane closure on northbound I-95 from the Prince George’s County line to MD 216 - Saturday night from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. Sunday and Sunday night from 8 p.m. until Monday at 5 a.m.
Montgomery County
• Southbound MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) between Bradley Lane and Washington D.C. Line – Roadway Patching/Utility relocation – Double lane closure from 7 p.m. Friday until 3 p.m. Sunday.
• Inner loop and outer loop of I-495 (Capital Beltway) between MD 650 (New Hampshire Avenue) and US 29 (Colesville Road) – Bridge Replacement/demolition phase - Single and double lane closures Sundays through Thursdays from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• MD 355 (Rockville Pike/Wisconsin Avenue) from MD 191 (Bradley Lane/Bradley Boulevard) to MD 187 (Old Georgetown Road) - Resurfacing – Single and double lane closures from 10 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday.
• Georgia Avenue between MD 390 (16th Street) and the Washington D.C. Line – Roadway grinding and patching – Single and double lane closures from 9 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday.
Prince George’s County
• MD 4 (Pennsylvania Avenue) from Ritchie Marlboro Road to Dower House Road – Resurfacing – Double lane closures in both directions Sundays through Thursdays from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Westbound MD 193 (Greenbelt Road) between Rhode Island Avenue and Southway – Paving/Resurfacing – Double lane closures from 9 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday.
While SHA and its partners work hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones, each driver needs to actively modify their driving style to help prevent crashes.
