STATE HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION TO HOST MEETING FOR RIDGE ROAD BRIDGE PROJECT IN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY

Two Bridges over MD 295 Scheduled for Work in Summer 2009;Attendance is Strongly Encouraged to Provide Feedback on Proposed Traffic Plans          
          
Who: State Highway Administration (SHA) representatives

What: SHA will host an informational meeting regarding the rehabilitation of two bridges which carry Ridge Road over MD 295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway) in Anne Arundel County. SHA proposes to temporarily close both bridges to traffic for eight to ten weeks in summer 2009 to replace the concreted bridge decks.          
          
When: Thursday, November 20, 2008, 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.          
          
Where: Wesley Grove United Methodist Church – Fellowship Hall           
1320 Dorsey Road, Hanover, MD 21076          
          
Why: Display areas will be set up explaining the proposed work and improvements to the bridge. Project representatives will be available to discuss issues, answer questions and record comments. Feel free to walk through at your own pace; no formal presentation will be given.
