WHAT: SHA will host an informational open house to acquaint the public with the progress of the MD 223 (Piscataway Road) Project Planning study to date. Displays and maps will explain the alternatives being developed and their potential impacts. The project team will be available to answer questions, discuss project issues and record comments.

WHY: The MD 223 Study area extends between MD 5 (Branch Avenue) and Steed Road in Prince George’s County. In coordination with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), SHA will study how to address safety and capacity improvements within this section. Attending the open house provides an opportunity for area stakeholders to provide the project team with additional information on community needs and potential impacts.
