Allegany County

• I-68 at the Crosstown Bridge over Downtown Cumberland – Single-lane closures for deck patching – Sunday nights through Friday afternoons through May.

Baltimore County

• Middletown Road Bridge over I-83 (Baltimore-Harrisburg Expressway) - Bridge rehabilitation project –Single lane closures possible on north and southbound I-83 from April 19 through April 26, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• MD 139 (Charles Street) at Gatehouse Drive (near Sheppard Pratt Hospital) – Intersection/Entrance improvements – Left turn restrictions beginning Monday, April 22.

Carroll County

• MD 194 (Frederick Street/York Street) in Taneytown – Resurfacing – Beginning Monday, April 22, motorists will encounter single lane closures along MD 194 in Town of Taneytown.  Click here for more information.

• Loflin Road at MD 7 (Old Philadelphia Road) – Water line relocation – Monday, April 22 until late-summer. Motorists will be detoured to westbound US 40 (Pulaski Highway).  Click here for more information.

Howard County

• MD 851 (West Friendship Road) between MD 32 and the Carroll County Line – Resurfacing project – Daily single lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  More information on the project is available by clicking here.

Montgomery County

• Southbound MD 355 (Rockville Pike) from I-495 to Jones Bridge Road. Utility relocation -- single lane closures on Sunday, April 21 through Monday April 22, between 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• MD 28 (West Montgomery Avenue) from Hurley Avenue to South Adams Street – Resurfacing -- Sunday, April 21 at 10 p.m. through Monday, April 22 at 5 a.m. Single and double lane closures.

• MD 190 (River Road) over I-495 (Capital Beltway) – Routine bridge inspection – Saturday, April 20- double right lane closure on the outer loop of I-495 from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m.

• I-495 (Capital Beltway) over Northwest Branch – Routine bridge inspection – Saturday, April 20- single right lane closure on the outer loop of I-495 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Prince George’s County

• MD 212 (Powder Mill Road) over I-95 and Little Paint Branch– Routine bridge inspection – Sunday, April 21- single right lane closure on northbound I-95 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and single right lane closure on southbound I-95 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon.

 

Queen Anne’s County

• Westbound US 50 over US 301 – Bridge rehabilitation project –There will be additional closures on the project through April.  SHA will set up two consecutive two-night temporary detours from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for motorists traveling on US 301.  Traffic travelling southbound on US 301 will be detoured on Monday and Tuesday (April 22-23) to a left on MD 456 (Del Rhodes Avenue) to westbound US 50 (Ocean Gateway) and back to southbound US 301.  Posted detours will be in effect.
