Anne Arundel County

 

• MD 295 (Baltimore -Washington Parkway) at West Nursery Road – Bridge replacement.  MD 295 and West Nursery Road will be closed overnights beginning at 8 p.m. Friday until 10 a.m. It will also be Saturday into Sunday morning.  Motorists are strongly encouraged to use   I-95, I-97 or US 1 as alternate routes.  For motorists traveling toward the Montgomery County side of the Capital Beltway, US 29 will be an excellent alternate route.

• I-97 flyover ramp to MD 178 (Generals Highway) -- Bridge inspection - Alternating single right and left lane closures on southbound I-97  on Saturday, November 10 from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. then alternating single closures on northbound I-97 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Baltimore County

 

• MD 146 (Dulaney Valley Road) Bridge over Loch Raven Reservoir – Bridge deck (driving surface) sealing

Expect traffic shifts Friday, November 9 at 9 p.m. until Monday, November 12 at 5 a.m.  Both travel lanes will remain open.

 

• I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) at MD 372 (Wilkens Avenue) – Bridge replacement

SHA is temporarily closing the inner loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) at MD 372 (Wilkens Avenue) at night on Sunday, November 11.  The closure is necessary for crews to shift Beltway traffic onto the new bridge at the interchange.  The outer loop lanes of I-695 will operate normally during the inner loop traffic switch.  The schedule of lane closures is as follows:

 

Sunday, November 11

 

9 p.m. -- Left lane closed on the inner loop of I-695

10 p.m. -- Two left lanes closed on inner loop of I-695

11 p.m. -- All lanes closed on the inner loop of I-695 overnight. Maryland State Police (MSP) will control traffic on I-695 and Wilkens Avenue during the traffic shift Sunday night.  MSP will detour all traffic through the Wilkens Avenue interchange, onto Kenwood Avenue, and back onto the inner loop of I-695.   

• Northbound and Southbound I-795 between I-695 and Owings Mills - Concrete patching

Weekdays: Monday – Friday-9 a.m. – 3 p.m. – single lane closures

 

Weeknights: Sunday – Thursday from 7 p.m. – 5 a.m. the next morning.  If needed, double lane closures after 10 p.m.

Frederick County

 

• Eastbound and Westbound I-70 at South Street – Bridge Replacement and interchange reconstruction -  Single Right Lane Closures – Sunday, November 11, 9 p.m., until 5 a.m. Monday, November 12, 5 a.m. Eastbound I-70 South Street on and off ramps will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday.

Howard County

 

• Sand Hill Rd over I-70 – Routine bridge inspection - Double left lane closure on westbound    I-70 on Friday, November 9th at 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. then double left lane closure on eastbound      I-70 on Saturday, November 10th from 12 a.m. to 3 a.m.

 

Montgomery County

• I-495 over Northwest Branch - Bridge Rehabilitation Project

SHA will pave the outer loop I-495 (Capital Beltway) over the Northwest Branch Bridge from MD 650 (New Hampshire Avenue) to MD 193 (University Avenue) on Saturday, November 10 through Tuesday, November 13.  The left lane of the outer loop I-495 will be blocked at 9 p.m., double left lanes at 10 p.m. and triple lane closures at 12 midnight.  All travel lanes will open by 5 a.m. Monday, November 12.

 

Prince George’s County

 

• I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway) at MD 214 (Central Avenue) – Bridge deck (driving surface) overlay

On Sunday night, November 11, crews will begin resurfacing the outer loop (northbound) I-95/I-495 over MD 214.  The left lane will be blocked at 9 p.m., double left lanes at 10 p.m. and triple lane closures at 12 midnight.  All travel lanes will open by 5 a.m. Monday, November 12.

 

Queen Anne’s County

 

• Westbound US 50 over US 301 – Bridge rehabilitation project-left lane closed on westbound US 50.
