What:

Next week, the State Highway Administration (SHA) is hosting an informational meeting to discuss proposed intersection improvements at MD 355 (Rockville Pike) at Cedar Lane in Montgomery County.

Engineers are finishing the project design that will help enhance traffic flow and safety along northbound MD 355 as part of the BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure) intersection improvements. Concepts for northbound MD 355 include the extension of the northbound auxiliary travel lane north of Cedar Lane, new sidewalk and a retaining wall.

SHA expects to complete design for the last of the MD 355/Cedar Lane improvements in spring 2013.   SHA encourages local residents to attend.  The open house format allows attendees to meet the project team, view display boards and provide feedback.

When:

Tuesday, July 24th between 6 and 8 p.m.
