What:  

This week, the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) is hosting a Location/Design hearing for the MD 5 Planning Study, seeking feedback on proposed improvements between MD 243 (Newtowne Neck Road) and MD 245 (Hollywood Road) in St. Mary’s County. 

 

SHA, in partnership with St. Mary’s County, Federal Highway

Administration and the US Army Corps of Engineers, is seeking comments on proposed improvements to improve safety and operations along MD 5 while supporting existing and planned development in the area.

 

Displays will be available at 5 p.m. showing the various alternatives under consideration.  Citizen participation and feedback is strongly encouraged. 

 

When:  

Thursday, June 28, 2012
Displays are available at 5 p.m.; presentation at 7 p.m., followed by public testimony.
