WHAT: Weather-permitting, all lanes on the INNER LOOP of I-695 between Quarantine Road and MD 10 will be temporarily closed for work on the Curtis Creek Drawbridge.

INNER LOOP I-695 detour: Quarantine Road to Hawkins Point Road, to Pennington Avenue, to Ordnance Road, to northbound MD 10 to INNER LOOP.

WHEN: Monday, June 25 through Friday, June 29, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

WHY: Crews are working to complete the project to replace the drawbridge’s steel grid deck and floor beams. Reflecting the MDTA’s commitment to preserving and maintaining the State’s aging infrastructure, this $14.5 million project, which is nearly complete and fully funded from toll revenue, is addressing existing wear and extending the bridge’s useful life.
