Resurfacing Begins 6 a.m. Friday; Parking Prohibited through the Weekend
 
WHAT:

Resurfacing of the Thompson Creek Road (US 50 at MD 8) Park-N-Ride in Stevensville, Queen Anne’s County. Work includes milling/grinding, paving and striping.

WHEN:
 
Beginning Friday, October 27 at 6 a.m. and continuing through the weekend. The Park-N-Ride will reopen Monday morning, October 30, in time for regular bus service. This work is weather-dependent and dates/times may be adjusted as necessary.
 
WHY:

This system preservation work will help keep the Stevensville Park-N-Ride viable for many years to come. Resurfacing and restriping also help improve drainage and visibility of parking spaces.
 
IMPACTS:
 
The Park-N-Ride lot will be CLOSED to all traffic, including buses, through the weekend. All vehicles must be removed from the lot by 6 a.m. Friday, October 27. Vehicles may be towed at owner’s expense.
 
• MTA Bus Commuters: Use the Park-N-Ride facilities at Castle Marina Rd. (next to Western Auto) or Kent Narrows (underneath the US 50 bridge). Normal bus service will resume Monday morning.
 
• Queen Anne’s County Bus Customers: Look for the County Ride bus in front of Kmart. Normal bus service will resume Monday morning.
