What:

The Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (SHA) is hosting an informational workshop to update the public on upcoming bridge painting and cleaning work on the MD 370 (Unionville Road) Bridge over the Miles River in Talbot County.

Work is expected to begin mid-July and be complete before the end of July, weather permitting. The bridge will remain in the upright position.  The temporary road closure of MD 370 also restricts bicyclist and pedestrian traffic.

SHA encourages area residents and businesses to attend the meeting and learn about the traffic impacts and bridge preservation efforts for the 32-year old bridge.  While there will be no formal presentation, attendees may view displays and project staff will be available to answer questions.

When:

Tuesday, May 12 between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Where:

Easton Middle School – Cafeteria
201 Peachblossom Road, Easton, MD 21601
