The Maryland Department of Transportation’s (MDOT) State Highway Administration (SHA) will host a full day business seminar for minority and disadvantaged business owners about opportunities for contractual work with SHA. The free event includes workshop speakers who will discuss social networking, understanding how to become certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise or Small Business Enterprise and contracting opportunities.

DIRECTIONS:
Take US 13 South (Ocean Highway) to Somerset County and turn left at the intersection of US 13 and MD 822 (UMES Blvd.) Travel on MD 822 about one-quarter of a mile to College Backbone Road. The Student Services Center will be on your right. Make the first right into the gated parking lot (S). Attendees traveling on US 13 North to Princess Anne may turn right at the intersection of US 13 and MD 822 (UMES Blvd.) and follow the same directions stated above to the Student Services Center.
