STATE HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION (SHA) HOSTS INFORMATIONAL MEETING FOR MD 295 SOUND BARRIER PROJECT IN BALTIMORE COUNTY

Informational meeting to discuss the proposed sound barrier project for the Baltimore Highlands and Riverview communities in northern Anne Arundel County.  This is an open house format meeting; attendees may arrive at anytime to talk to project representatives and view displays.

Thursday, October 24, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Information:
            
The project limits extend on MD 295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway) from I-895 to north of Daisy Avenue. SHA plans to construct a series of barriers along MD 295 to reduce noise from the highway, construct drainage systems to landscaping the area (tree plantings and slope treatments) the project is not currently funded for construction.
