Baltimore County

• I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) at MD 144 (Frederick Road). Bridge replacement and interchange reconstruction.  On Sunday night, March 3, the State Highway Administration’s (SHA) will begin removing the steel girders from the old Frederick Road Bridge over I-695. During the next week, SHA will temporarily close lanes and detour traffic on I-695 at Exit 13.  Monday through Friday, SHA will begin over the northbound lanes of I-695 (inner loop) first.  Once the northbound side is complete, crews will shift to the southbound lanes of I-695 (outer loop).  Temporary total closures possible with detours.

• Middletown Road Bridge over I-83 (Baltimore-Harrisburg Expressway). Bridge rehabilitation project.  Single lane closures possible on north and southbound I-83 from March 4 through March 8, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Montgomery County

• MD 28 (West Montgomery Avenue) over I-270.  Routine bridge inspection.  Work will occur on Sunday, March 3 with alternating double right and left lane closures on the southbound I-270 from 5 a.m. to noon.

•Northbound I-270 between Germantown (MD 118) toward Gaithersburg (MD 117). Guardrail installation.  Work will occur Monday through Wednesday, March 4 to March 6.  Northbound lane closures may occur between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. and southbound lane closures from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. There may be temporary overnight ramp closures with posted detours.

• Northbound and southbound MD 355 (Rockville Pike) between North Drive and South Drive. Utility relocation. Sunday, March 3. Single right lane closure from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, March 4.

 

Queen Anne’s County

• Westbound US 50 over US 301 – Bridge rehabilitation project- right lane closed on westbound US 50.
