(July 1, 2020) - The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will be performing routine maintenance on the Spa Creek (Sixth Street) bridge in Anne Arundel County today, July 1. Covington Machine and Welding, Inc., of Annapolis, will handle the work from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. During these times, motorists can expect brief test openings of the bridge. This work will continue on Wednesday, July 22.
MDOT SHA works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers. Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving and look for reduced speed limits, as well as other driving pattern changes. Drive like you work here and slow down in construction zones.
