(October 15, 2010) – Next week, the Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (SHA) will resurface more than three and one-half miles of MD 20 (Rock Hall Road) between west of Ricauds Branch Road and Old Fairlee Road.  Weather permitting, work will begin on or about Tuesday, October 19 and be complete by month’s end.

Crews will pave the two-lane section during the day between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. weekdays.  Flag persons will guide motorists through the work zone, and barrels and variable message signs will provide information on lane closures and traffic shifts.  SHA awarded the $592,000 project to David A. Bramble, Inc. of Chestertown.
