Milling, Paving to Begin on US 340 Off Ramps Starting March 18

(March 14, 2025) – The Maryland State Highway Administration will begin a milling and paving project on the off ramps of US 340 at MD 67 (Rohrersville Road)​) beginning Tuesday, March 18 between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. The project will be completed by mid-April, weather permitting.

Drivers can expect narrowed lanes at the US 340 westbound off ramp to MD 67 and US 340 eastbound at MD 67 off ramp.

The State Highway Administration’s contractor Francis O. Day Construction, Inc of Rockville, will be performing the work.  Crews will use electronic message boards, signs, barrels and cones to notify motorists about the work zone.

Motorists are encouraged to stay alert, slow down and focus on driving safely through work zones.
