The work will require overnight, triple-lane closures on the inner loop of the Capital Beltway from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The right lane and exit 4A to MD 414 will remain open. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning, ahead of the morning rush hour.

The State Highway Administration understands that roadwork can be an inconvenience, but the work is necessary to ensure a safe and reliable highway network. Motorists are asked slow down, be patient, allow extra travel time, stay alert and move over when approaching a work zone.
Customers who have questions may contact the District 3 Office at 301-513-7300 or toll-free at 1-800-749-0737.
