Daytime Flagging Operation Begins Monday, March 11
(March 7, 2024) - The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will patch deteriorated asphalt sections on the two-lane section of
MD 908C (Skidmore Drive/Whitehall Road) between MD 179 (Saint Margarets Road) and just beyond the Maryland Transportation Authority building starting next week. The repair work should be complete by March 15, weather permitting.
Starting Monday, March 11, flaggers alternate traffic through the work zone from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, weather permitting. The State Highway Administration’s contractor, Allan Myers MD Inc. of Fallston, is performing the work.
The State Highway Administration works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers. Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving, and look for reduced speed limits as well as other traffic pattern changes.
Motorists in need may dial #77 on their mobile devices for roadside assistance.
