Through Mid-August, Drivers Can Expect Flagging Operation
(July 27, 2023) - The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will begin repairs to a damaged storm drain pipe along MD 103 (Montgomery Road) at Hunting Horn Drive/Lynne Lane in the Ellicott City area of Howard County on Monday, July 31.
Crews will work weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The repairs should be complete by mid-August, weather permitting. Contractor Concrete General Inc. of Gaithersburg will use flagging, signs, barrels, and cones to safely guide motorists through the work zone.
The State Highway Administration understands lane closures associated with road construction may be an inconvenience, but the work is necessary to maintain a world-class transportation system. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay close attention while driving through the work zone.
