• Eastbound Joppa Road, east of MD 146 Towson Roundabout – Towson Circle Development Utility Work – Eastbound Joppa Road between MD 146 (Dulaney Valley Rd.) and Virginia Ave. – 24-hour road closure of section of eastbound Joppa Road in front of Towson Circle complex scheduled for 7 p.m. June 6 – 7 p.m. June 7.  Detour: Northbound Dulaney Valley Rd. to Eastbound Fairmount Avenue, bear right to southbound Fairmount Ave. to return to Joppa Rd. • Raphael Road overpass at I-95 - MDTA Reconstruction – MDTA closed the Raphael Road overpass as part of the I-95 Express Toll Lanes (ETL) Northbound Extension project. The closure will be in place through early 2023 and traffic is being detoured to the Bradshaw Road overpass.   
• US 40 (Pulaski Highway) Westbound from Campbell Boulevard to MD 700 (Martin Boulevard) – Roadway milling and resurfacing - Weekday single lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and overnight between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Sunday-Thursday through late June.  Updated   
• MD 7 (Philadelphia Road) from Ebenezer Road to New Forge Road - Roadway milling and patching – Weekday single lane closures with flagging operations, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through late June.   
• MD 30 (Hanover Pike) at Mt. Gilead Road – Intersection Improvements – Daytime lane closures with flagging operations at intersection Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. through fall 2022.   
• MD 45 (York Road) Northbound near Boxwood Lane and southbound York Road near Sherwood Road / BGE Electric Reliability Project Spring 2022 - BGE will shift travel lanes to create two work zones around BGE manholes in roadway.  BGE will maintain two-way through traffic through the two work zones, BGE work will be 24/7 through late June 2022.   
• MD 145 (Sweet Air Road) from east of MD 146 (Jarrettsville Pike) to Manor Rd.  - Highway maintenance pavement patching, milling, and resurfacing with temporary lane closures and flagging operations on weekdays 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and Saturdays 6 a.m.-2 p.m. through late June.   
• MD 151 (North Point Blvd.) from New Battle Grove Road to Cove Road – Highway maintenance pavement patching, milling, and resurfacing with temporary lane closures on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through late June.   
• Ingleside Avenue underneath I-695 – ADA Sidewalk Upgrades – Temporary single-lane closures and flagging operations on Ingleside Avenue in the vicinity of the I-695 bridge on weekdays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. until early summer.

Carroll County

• MD 97 (New Washington Road) between MD 140 (Baltimore Boulevard) and the Fenby Park & Ride, south of MD 32 (Sykesville Road) - Highway patching and resurfacing project – Single lane closure and flagging operation overnight from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday night through Friday morning. The project is expected to be complete in June.
• MD 27 (Ridge Road) between Waterville Road and Gillis Falls Road – Highway patching project – Flagging operation overnight Sunday night through Friday morning from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. The project is expected to be complete in June.

Dorchester County

• US 50 East and West between Woods Rd and MD 16 (Church Creek Rd) - Utility Work.  Lane and shoulder closures weekdays 7 a.m.-5 p.m. through July 29.

Frederick County

• US 15 between Basford Road and the bridge over the Potomac River near the Maryland/Virginia line - Highway patching and resurfacing project - Single Lane closure during overnight mobile project. Crews working Sunday night through Friday morning from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. The project includes the traffic circle at MD 464 (Point of Rocks Road). Completion is expected by June.
• MD 26 (Liberty Road) between Chestnut Grove Road and MD 75 (Green Valley Road) - Highway patching project – Weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The project is expected to be complete in May.
• MD 144 (East Patrick Street) between East Street and Quinn Orchard Road – Roadway improvements – Single-lane closures and a flagging operation in place weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through expected completion in June. New

• Westbound I-70 between westbound US 40 (Baltimore National Pike) merge ramp and MD 97 (Hoods Mill Road) - Highway patching and resurfacing project – Single lane closure and exit ramp detours at MD 32 and MD 97 when crews are working in that area. The schedule is overnight from Sunday evening to Friday morning from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. This project is expected to be complete by July.
• MD 32 (Patuxent Freeway) between US 1 (Washington Boulevard) and the Howard/Anne Arundel Co line (south of Dorsey Run Road) – Guardrail upgrades – Single lane and shoulder closures as crews replace guardrail. The work schedule is Sunday night through Friday morning from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. This project is expected to be complete in June.
• MD 108 (Clarksville Pike) between MD 32 (Patuxent Freeway) and the Howard/Montgomery Co line, past Wainwright Road – Highway patching and resurfacing project – Single lane closure and flagging operation Sunday night through Friday morning from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The project is expected to be complete in June.

Long-Term Closures

Allegany County

• MD 51 (Industrial Blvd) from Canal Parkway to Springdale Street – Left lane closures will be in place south bound. Crews will work daily, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., on the section of the roadway between Canal Parkway and Springdale Street.  Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by the end of June.   
• MD 51 (Oldtown Road) Bridge over the C&O Canal – Crews will be closing both lanes and creating a single lane in the center of the roadway.  This traffic set up will include a temporary traffic signal alternating traffic through the single lane.  Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by the end of summer.   
• MD 36 – Barton from Potomac Street to New Georges Creek Road at MD 935 - Flagging operation for a safety and resurfacing project – Patch, grind, and resurface and apply new pavement markings - Crews will work daily, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.   
• I-68 (National Freeway) Bridge over MD 55 (Vale Summit Road) - Barrier repairs and fencing installation - Weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Right lane and shoulder closures both westbound and eastbound - Weather permitting, the project is expected to complete by the end of June.

Anne Arundel County

• MD 170 (Belle Grove Road) between Sixth Avenue and 10th Avenue – Temporary overnight detour between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday for utility work.   
• MD 424 between MD 214 and US 50 – Daytime single lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for resurfacing.

• Cove Road bridge over I-695 - Bridge deck replacement - On I-695, daytime single lane closures in both directions may occur Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and overnight lane closures Sunday-Thursday between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day. On the Cove Road bridge over I-695, long-term single lane closures are in effect, with two-way traffic on the southern (eastbound) side of the bridge deck, through late summer 2022.
• US 40 Dual Bridges over Little Gunpowder Falls and (Big) Gunpowder Falls – Four bridges to be replaced between White Marsh and Joppatowne – Motorists should expect temporary single lane closures on eastbound and westbound US 40 during the following off-peak times:  Daytime (Monday – Saturday) Westbound US 40: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Eastbound US 40: 7 a.m.  to 4 p.m.  Overnight (Sunday-Thursday) Westbound and Eastbound US 40:  7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day.  
• Note:  The lanes on the eastbound and westbound US 40 bridges over the (Big) Gunpowder Falls will be split through spring 2022.  Possible Traffic Impact in Harford County.
• US 1 (Washington Blvd.) Bridge over CSX Transportation rail lines – Bridge replacement –  Clarke Blvd. at US 1 is closed/detoured 24 hours/7 days through late summer 2022.  Posted detour route includes Selford Rd., Francis Ave., Oregon and Carville Aves., Tom Day Blvd. and US 1 Alt. (Southwestern Blvd.)   Project scheduled through late fall 2022.
• MD 25 (Falls Road) between Baltimore City / County Line and I-695 – Baltimore County DPWT water line replacement project - Overnight lane closures with flagging operations along sections of Falls Road, 9 p.m.-5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday, with some daytime work as needed 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through spring 2024.

• MD 30 (Hanover Pike) at Mt. Gilead Road – Intersection Improvements – Daytime lane closures with flagging operations at intersection Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. through fall 2022.
• MD 43 (White Marsh Blvd.) at Honeygo Blvd. - Intersection Widening and Improvements - Temporary daytime lane closures on MD 43 and Honeygo Blvd. legs of the intersection between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Friday, and overnight lane closures at any time between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday. When necessary, there will be temporary lane closures on weekends, 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday and/or Sunday. Project scheduled through early summer 2022.
• MD 140 (Reisterstown Road) between I-695 and Mt. Wilson Lane/ Grey Rock Rd. - Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements - includes traffic signal upgrades, crosswalk markings, and paving on MD 140 and also on Hooks Lane at MD 140. Temporary daytime single lane closures on MD 140 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Friday and overnight single lane closures on Hooks Lane approach to MD 140 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next morning Sunday-Thursday through summer 2022.
• MD 140 (Reisterstown Rd.) between Painters Mill Rd. and E. Pleasant Hill Rd. – Resurfacing/County Water Main replacement - Crews are installing new 36-inch water main from Owings Mills Blvd. to East Pleasant Hill Road with connections to fire hydrants and buildings along MD 140. Daytime single lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. between Owings Mills Blvd. and E. Pleasant Hill Rd.  Nighttime single lane closures within project limits Sunday-Thursday nights between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day.  Access to all driveways in this section will be maintained during any lane closures.  Project scheduled through spring 2022.
• MD 140 (Reisterstown Rd.) between E. Pleasant Hill Rd. and Stocksdale Ave. – Resurfacing/County Water Main replacement - Daytime single lane closures Monday - Friday 9 a.m.-3 p.m. between E. Pleasant Hill Rd and Stocksdale Ave.  Nighttime single lane closures within project limits Sunday-Thursday nights between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the next day. Access to driveways in this section will be maintained during any lane closures.  Project scheduled through summer 2024.
• MD 147 (Harford Road) / Joppa Road - Intersection improvements - Daytime single lane closures and flagging operations on Harford and Joppa Road in the vicinity of the intersection Monday-Thursday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m.  Fridays.  Overnight work with lane closures Sunday-Thursday 9 p.m.-5 a.m. the next day. Traffic shift in effect as of Jan. 26 on westbound Joppa Rd. with lanes shifted to the left approaching Harford Rd.  Traffic shift and right lane closure in effect along southbound MD 147 from Jomat Avenue to south of Joppa Road, through summer 2022.
• MD 151 (Sparrows Point Blvd.) / Wharf Road (MD 151 B) Interchange - Three-bridge replacement project at interchange.  The southbound side of the existing MD 151 bridge is closed and two-way traffic - one lane in each direction - runs on the northbound side of the bridge. This will be in effect through 2022 and will enable partial demolition of the existing bridge over Wharf Road and future construction of the new bridge.  This is in addition to the detours of southbound and northbound Wharf Road at the interchange for replacement of two other bridges.

Cecil County

• MD 213 (Augustine Herman Highway) bridge over C&D Canal in Chesapeake City – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers bridge repair project. Occasional single lane closures and flagging will occur 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday-Thursday from May 9 through August 11. View real-time traffic conditions at the bridge with these cameras: MD 213 at Basil Ave. (south side) and MD 213 at Lock St. (north side). New
  
• MD 279 (Elkton Road) at MD 277 (Fletchwood Road) – Northbound MD 279 is reduced to a single lane at the MD 277 intersection near the Delaware line and shifted across the median to a contraflow pattern (one lane in each direction).  This is part of the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDot) reconstruction of route 279.
• Northbound US 15 Bridge over MD 77 – Bridge Deck replacement project – The right lane is closed. Each side of the bridge is expected to take six to eight months to finish. The entire project is expected to be complete by spring 2023.

Garrett County

• MD 39 (Hutton Road) from Ashby Ellis to US 219 in Oakland – Drainage improvement and repaving project, flagging operation, 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. New
  
• US 50 from the West Virginia Line to US 219 – Patching, milling and paving, crews working 7 a.m.-5:00 p.m. through the end of April.
  

Harford County

• Old Joppa Road Bridge over I-95 (MDTA project) – Bridge replacement project – Old Joppa Road closed and locally detoured.
• Clayton Road bridge over I-95 between MD 152 and MD 24 (MDTA project) - Clayton Road closed and detoured until early 2022.
• I-95/MD 152 Interchange Reconstruction (MDTA project) - Travel lanes on MD 152 at I-95 will be shifted to accommodate reconstruction of the existing interchange. MD 152 traffic will shift from the current location to the outside of the roadway in both directions on MD 152 between Old Mountain Road/Jaycee Drive and MD 7 (Philadelphia Road). All access to and from I-95 will retain its present configuration throughout this phase of construction, which will last through spring 2022.

Montgomery County

• I-270 Southbound from MD 121 (Clarksburg Road) to MD 109 (Old Hundred Road) - I-270 acceleration lane expansion project - Single and multiple off-peak lane closures, weekdays 9:30 a.m.to 3:30 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 4 a.m.  Possible Traffic Impact in Frederick County.
• Brookeville Road from MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) to Grayheaven Manor Road. Sewer relocation project. Full 24/7 road closure with detour through late spring 2022. Drivers should add extra commute time and use MD 97 and MD 108 as alternate routes.
• MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) at Jones Bridge Road/Kensington Parkway Intersection improvement project - Single off-peak lane closures on MD 185, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and single off-peak lane closures on Jones Bridge Road, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, 7 days per week, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late summer 2023.
• MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) at Saul Road Intersection improvement project. Single lane closures with intermittent intersection closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through year-end 2022.

• I-270 from I-70 to I-495 (Capital Beltway) - Traffic congestion relief construction project - Intermittent single lane closures, weekdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and single, double and triple overnight lane closures, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and intermittent temporary ramp closures with detours up to 24 hours a day through year-end 2022.

• Westbound MD 4 (Pennsylvania Avenue) ramp to northbound MD 980D (Ritchie Marlboro Road). Slope repair project. Full ramp closure with detour through year-end 2022. Drivers should consider MD 223 (Woodyard Road) and Old Marlboro Pike as alternate routes. 
• MD 5 (Branch Avenue) from the DC Line to the intersection of Curtis Drive - Safety and resurfacing project. • MD 210 at Livingston Road/Kerby Hill Road. Interchange construction project. Intermittent   off-peak single and multiple lane closures, Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m.to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 8 p.m.to 5 a.m. through late summer 2022.
• MD 212A (Powder Mill Road) from Pine Street to US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) - Roadway reconstruction project. Intermittent single and multiple lane closures weekdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through late summer 2022.
• MD 223 (Woodyard Road) from Sherwood Drive to Victoria Drive - Sidewalk construction project - Off-peak lane closures, weekdays, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through late fall 2022.
• MD 223 (Woodyard Road) at Dower House Road - Geometric improvement project - Single weekday lane closures, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late summer 2022.
• MD  500 (Queens Chapel Road) from Eastern Avenue to MD 208 (Hamilton Street) Community safety and enhancement project. Intermittent single and multiple lane closures weekdays,9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through late summer 2022.
• I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway) from Suitland Road to MD 4 (Pennsylvania Avenue) - Suitland Parkway bridge replacement project. Road shoulder closure permissible 24 hours daily, intermittent single and multiple lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Friday, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through year end 2022.

Talbot County

• MD 33 (Talbot St.) from Spencer Ave. to Lee St. in St. Michaels - Sidewalk project. Occasional single-lane closures and flagging 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Thursday through Spring 2023. NEW

Washington County

• I-70 East and Westbound at the MD 65 Interchange – Bridge rehabilitation and widening of I-70 bridges over MD 65 - Through September, motorists on I-70 eastbound will follow a posted detour.  I-70 eastbound shifted to the median and the right shoulder is closed with concrete barrier wall.  Updated
  
• US 40 East at Beaver Creek Road – Geometric improvements at the intersection, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. - single lane traffic eastbound, US 40 East in a single lane near Beaver Creek Road and Auto Place. The right turn from US 40 East to Beaver Creek Road will be narrowed during the construction using barrels.
• MD 632 (Downsville Pike) from MD 68 (Lappans Road) to South of I-70 - Patching, milling and repaving project - Motorists should expect a flagging operation, Monday – Friday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Project to be completed by the beginning of June.
