Work Includes Patching Asphalt Pavement along Segments of These Roads
(December 14, 2021) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is scheduled to begin two highway maintenance pavement patching projects in Harford County on Thursday, December 16, 2021.
The work was postponed from Wednesday, December 15.
Starting at 8 a.m., crews will patch asphalt pavement along segments of MD 136 (Whiteford/Harkins Road) between MD 165 (Pylesville Road) and Telegraph Road. To complete this project, there will be temporary lane closures and flagging operations on MD 136 weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Starting at 9 a.m., crews will patch asphalt pavement along segments of MD 7 (Philadelphia Road) between MD 152 (Mountain Road) and Fashion Way. Motorists can expect temporary lane closures and flagging operations along MD 7 weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
MDOT SHA contractor Allan Myers – MD, Inc of Fallston is expected to complete both projects by February 2022, weather permitting. Customers who have questions about this work and state-numbered non-toll highways in Harford County may contact the MDOT SHA District Four Office at 410-229-2300 or toll-free at 1-866-998-0367.
MDOT SHA works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers. Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving and look for reduced speed limits, as well as other driving pattern changes. Please drive like you work here and slow down in construction zones. Motorists can dial #77 on their mobile device for roadside assistance.
