Motorists to be Detoured to US 15 on Sunday, September 12
(September 9, 2021) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will conduct work to replace a failing storm drain pipe on MD 76 (Motters Station Road) in Frederick County on Sunday, September 12.
From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., crews will close MD 76 between Old Kiln Road and Old Frederick Road. A detour will be in place directing motorists to use US 15 Northbound to Old Frederick Road and then back to US 15.
MDOT SHA works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers. Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving and look for reduced speed limits, as well as other driving pattern changes. Please drive like you work here and slow down in construction zones.
Motorists can dial #77 or 911 on their mobile device for roadside assistance.
