MD 140 sign
(April 28, 2021) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will improve drainage on MD 140 (Baltimore Boulevard) in Finksburg starting tomorrow. Crews will repair and upgrade the curb, gutter and sidewalk at the intersection of MD 140 and Dede Road. The $61,000 project is expected to take one week to complete.
MDOT SHA’s contractor, MIM Construction, Inc., will use a flagging operation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays to maintain traffic through the intersection and ensure worker safety. MDOT SHA will use electronic message boards, barrels, signs, and cones to alert motorists and guide them through the work zone.
MDOT SHA works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers. Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving and, look for reduced speed limits, as well as other driving pattern changes. Drive like you work here and slow down in construction zones.
