(July 26, 2018) - This morning, the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will temporarily close the bathrooms at the rest area on I-70 westbound in Frederick County to repair a water leak. During the repair, a limited number of temporary, portable restrooms will be available to the public, including designated ADA-accessible facilities.

 

The bathrooms are expected to reopen early next week. Variable message signs have been installed near the rest area to alert motorists of the temporary closure.
