(July 23, 2018) – Beginning at 4 am Thursday, July 26, the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will close MD 67 for the US Cycling Bike Race. The road will be closed from US 40 alternate on down to US 340. Detours will be in place using MD 67, US 340 and US 40 Alternate. The highway is expected to reopen by 5 pm Thursday. Local residents will have modified access throughout the day when MD 67 is closed.
