• Inner loop of I-695 at the Curtis Creek Drawbridge – Drawbridge repair – (MDTA project) Inner loop I-695 closed and traffic in two-way operation using the outer loop of I-695 until November 2018.

• Northbound I-895 Bridge over the Patapsco Flats (Between MD 295 and the I-97/MD spur) – Bridge rehabilitation – (MDTA project) 24/7 right lane closure until summer 2019.

Montgomery County

• HIGH-IMPACT - Outer loop of I-495 (Capital Beltway) between MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) and MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) - Bridge deck resurfacing on MD 185 Bridge over I-495 - Double and Triple lane closures beginning at 9 p.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Sunday. MAJOR DELAYS EXPECTED. new

• US 29 (Colesville Road) between I-495 (Capital Beltway) and MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) -  WSSC water line replacement project - Single and double lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sundays through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Single lane closures Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Prince George’s County

• HIGH-IMPACT - Northbound I-95 (outer loop of I-495) at MD 450 (Annapolis Road) – Bridge deck repairs – Double and triple lane closures Sunday through Wednesday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning. new direction

• MD 224 (Riverside Road) Bridge over Thorne Gut Branch – Bridge replacement – Total closure and through August. Click here for more details and detour information.

 

Frederick County

 

• Eastbound US 40 Alternate (Old National Pike) between Fern Lane and Ridge Road – Roadside slope repair – Right truck “climbing” lane and shoulder closed until late-August.

Prince George’s County

• MD 381 (Brandywine Road) Bridge over Timothy Branch – Bridge replacement – Total closure and detour until late-August.

MAJOR Closures for Next Week

Baltimore County

• HIGH-IMPACT - Outer loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) ramp to northbound I-95 (Arbutus) – Paving operations – Ramp closure and local detour beginning Monday at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday. On Wednesday night at 9 p.m., crews will remove the top layer of asphalt from the ramp from the inner loop of I-695 to northbound I-95. The ramp will reopen by 5 a.m. Thursday. new

• I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) between Greenspring Avenue and MD 25 (Falls Road) – Resurfacing – Single and double lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Two weeks remaining.

Frederick County

•  MD 76 (Motters Station Road) between MD 77 (Rocky Ridge Road) and Four Points Road – Resurfacing – Single lane closures guided by flaggers Mondays through Fridays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. new

•  US 40 (Baltimore National Pike) between Old Camp Road and I-70 – Resurfacing – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

 

Howard County

• MD 100 between east of Snowden River Parkway and east of US 1 (Washington Boulevard) – Resurfacing project – Single lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. each morning.

 

Montgomery County

• Northbound MD 124 (Quince Orchard Road) between Dosh Drive and MD 117 (Clopper Road) – Shared-use path construction – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. until early-August. 

 

Washington County

• I-81 between the Potomac River Bridge (West Virginia line) and MD 68/MD 63 (Lappans Road) – Highway widening project – Left lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. There may be occasional, brief total closures to move equipment and material into place between 2 midnight and 4 a.m.
