Hahn Road Closure Begins at 9 a.m..; Drivers Should Plan for Additional Travel Time

(July 20, 2016) – On August 5, Maryland Midland Railway and the Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (SHA) will close a section of Hahn Road between MD 27 (Manchester Rd) and Woodward Drive in Carroll County, weather permitting. 

Crews will close the road between Friday, August 5 at 9 a.m. and Wednesday, August 10 at 5 a.m. Scheduled work includes replacing deteriorated concrete panels at the railroad crossings and repaving the railroad approaches.  Motorists will be directed to use the following detour route:  Hahn Road to MD 27 (Manchester Road) to MD 140 (Baltimore Boulevard) to Engler Road/Hahn Road.
