Drivers Should Plan for Additional Travel Time

(July 11, 2016) – Beginning Saturday, July 16 at 4 a.m., CSX Transportation will close a section of MD 85 (Buckeystown Pike) between English Muffin Way and Manor Woods Road in Frederick County for rail crossing repairs.  Weather permitting, MD 85 should open Monday, July 18.

CSX Transportation is replacing deteriorated rubber panels at the railroad crossings and re-paving the railroad approaches.  The signed detour route includes Manor Woods Road, New Design Road and English Muffin Way.

Turn left onto Manor Woods Road, right onto New Design Road, right onto English Muffin Way, and left on MD 85

Turn right onto English Muffin Way, left onto New Design Road, left onto Manor Woods Road and right onto MD 85
