What:
The Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (SHA) is hosting a public workshop for the MD 32 Corridor Planning Study. The project limits are between I-70 in Howard County and MD 26 (Liberty Road) in Carroll County. The study team will assess the area’s transportation needs and develop concepts for short-term improvements, as well as a long-term transportation vision for the MD 32 Corridor.
The public workshop includes exhibits on the MD 32 Corridor needs, findings from the online public survey, traffic and crash data, conceptual ideas under consideration, and a public comment / feedback station. The workshop will provide an opportunity for study team members to hear citizens’ comments and questions. With no formal presentation, interested attendees may arrive at any time during meeting hours and review the display area. SHA representatives will be on hand to answer any questions.
