Summer 2016 Repairs Include Detour Using US 40 Alternate
What:
The Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (SHA) is hosting a public informational meeting for scheduled improvements for the MD 546 (Finzel Road) Bridge over I-68.
Construction is scheduled for summer 2016; crews will close the bridge in June and reopen it for travel in August. All interchange ramps and I-68 travel lanes will remain open; only traffic crossing the bridge will be detoured. The project will replace the riding surface and repair parts of the bridge.
