(October 15, 2015) - Good news!  The Maryland Department of Transportation's State Highway Administration has reopened the MD 213 Bridge over the Sassafras River in Galena, Kent County.

The bridge has been closed to vehicular traffic since September 19 so crews could repair and paint structural steel and make hydraulic system repairs.

SHA is in the process of removing detour signs. SHA appreciates residents’ and travelers’ patience during the closure.
