Agency Seeks Feedback from Lower Shore Counties to Help Identify Accessibility Concerns

What: The ADA Public Involvement meeting will provide an opportunity to share comments and prioritize future ADA improvement projects in the Lower Shore counties.
When: Tuesday, October 14, 2008, 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Where: The One-Stop Job Market – Conference Room 917 Mt. Hermon Road, Salisbury, Md.
Why: SHA is conducting a self-evaluation to identify features, such as sidewalks, that do not meet ADA’s current guidelines. Along with the Tri-County Council for Lower Shore Counties, Shore Transit Advisory Board and the Maryland Department of Education’s Division of Rehabilitation Services, the meeting will help identify and gather information on accessibility challenges.
