SHA will suspend all non-emergency construction lane closures from 5 a.m. Wednesday, November 26 until 9 a.m. Monday, December 1.
Anne Arundel County
• Southbound I-97 between MD 100 and Benfield Boulevard – Concrete patching – Double lane closure from 9 p.m. Friday until 3 p.m. Sunday.
Baltimore County
• US 1 Alternate (Washington Boulevard) ramp to the outer loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) – Pavement repair – Temporary ramp closure from 10 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Prince George’s County
• Westbound US 50 ramp to Arwick Ardmore Road/New Carrollton Metro Station – Slope repair – Double lane closures from 10 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Saturday.
• Southbound MD 301 (Crain Highway/Blue Star Memorial Highway) from Westwood Drive to MD 5 (Branch Avenue) - Road resurfacing - Single and double lane closures Sunday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday.
While SHA and its partners work hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones, each driver needs to actively modify their driving style to help prevent crashes. Stay alert – look for reduced speed limits, narrow driving lanes and highway workers. Slow down and don't follow too closely. Safer Driving. Safer Work Zones. For everyone!
