WHAT:
The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) will hold an Informational Public Meeting on September 17 regarding potential roadway, sidewalk and drainage improvements in Chewsville.
WHEN:
Tuesday, September 17 between 6:00 and 7:30 p.m.
A brief presentation will begin at 6:15 p.m.

WHY:
At a previous public meeting in April, SHA presented information about a proposed resurfacing and sidewalk upgrade project along Twin Springs Drive (MD 804B) in Chewsville. At that meeting, SHA heard from citizens about drainage and storm water management concerns in the area. SHA has completed a preliminary hydraulics review and, at the September 17 meeting, will present a project update as well as information about options for drainage and storm water management improvements.
