(July 30, 2013) – MD 63 (Greencastle Pike) is closed at I-70 in Washington County for an emergency gas line repair. Motorists should use alternate routes, such as I-81, to avoid the closed section, which extends from the Pilot Travel Center to Elliott Parkway. The closure is anticipated to continue until at least 1 p.m. and may extend into the late afternoon.

At this time, crews anticipate being able to complete the repair without closing I-70, but motorists should be prepared for potential delays and consider alternate routes.
