Motorists Should Expect Daytime Lane Closures on MD 7 between Belcamp and Aberdeen

(March 8, 2024) - The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will begin a $350,000 pavement patching project on MD 7 (Philadelphia Road) south of Aberdeen, Harford County on Monday, March 11. Work should be complete by late March, weather permitting.

Beginning 9 a.m. Monday, contractor crews will begin asphalt patching work on MD 7 between the roundabout at Seven Trails Drive and US 40 (Pulaski Highway). Motorists should expect temporary daytime lane closures and flagging operations along this section of MD 7 Monday through Thursday, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The pavement patching work is part of the State Highway Administration’s highway maintenance program within Harford County. Contractor Allan Myers - MD, Inc. of Fallston will perform the work.

The State Highway Administration works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers. Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving, and look for reduced speed limits as well as other traffic pattern changes.

Please drive like you work here and slow down in construction zones.

Motorists in need may dial #77 on their mobile devices for roadside assistance.
