***TRAFFIC ALERT*** STATE HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION UPDATING TRAFFIC BARRIERS ON I-695 (BALTIMORE BELTWAY) NEAR MD 151 (NORTH POINT BOULEVARD) IN BALTIMORE COUNTY

​Motorists Can Expect Single-Lane and Shoulder Closure on Thursday and Friday 

(May 3, 2023) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration is updating traffic barriers along the outer loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) between MD 151 (North Point Boulevard) and Cove Road in the Dundalk area of Baltimore County.  

Crews will work 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 4, and Friday, May 5. During work hours, crews will close the left lane and left shoulder on the I-695 outer loop. The work is expected to be complete Friday. 

The State Highway Administration understands roadwork can be an inconvenience for some travelers and asks all motorists to stay alert and be patient as they pass through the work zone.   ​
