Four-Hour Closure of Right Lane Required for Pavement Repairs
(March 31, 2022) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will make pavement repairs Tuesday, April 5, on a section of westbound US 50 (Ocean Gateway) at the MD 8 (Romancoke Road) overpass prior to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. The repairs will take about four hours.
Crews will close the right lane beginning at 9 a.m. to perform the work, and expect to complete the repairs by approximately noon.
MDOT SHA works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers. Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving, and look for reduced speed limits as well as other driving pattern changes. Please drive like you work here and slow down in construction zones.
Motorists in need may dial #77 on their mobile device for roadside assistance.
