Road projects can be built by the State, county or local government. Contact your county MDOT SHA Regional Planner through your district office for information on State projects and for contacts regarding county or local projects. The Consolidated Transportation Program (CTP) is Maryland’s six-year capital budget for transportation projects. The Capital Program includes major and minor projects for the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) and related MDOT business units, including the Maryland Aviation Administration, the Motor Vehicle Administration, the Maryland Transit Administration, MDOT SHA, the Maryland Port Administration, and the Maryland Transportation Authority, as well as the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority. CTP shows an expanded description for each major project, along with a list of minor capital projects.
