Eddie B. Tombs Scholarship Program

​MDOT SHA, in conjunction with Morgan State University, has established the Eddie B. Tombs Scholarship Program to ​honor the memory of Eddie B. Tombs Sr. Mr. Tombs is a significant figure in our history - he was one of the first Black American engineers​ to work for MDOT SHA's predecessor, the Maryland State Roads Commission.​​
