• MD 187 (Old Georgetown Road) between south of Center Drive and north of West Cedar Lane/Oakmont Avenue – Resurfacing – Northbound MD 187 lane closures are permitted Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m.; Southbound MD 187 closures are permitted between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.

• MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) at MD 28 (Norbeck Road) – Intersection improvement project/utility relocation - Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and Sundays through Thursdays between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

• MD 355 (Rockville Pike) between Wilson Drive and Woodmont Avenue - Montgomery County Crossing Project clearing and curb work - Single and double lane closures in each direction beginning Friday at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday.

• US 29 (Colesville Road) between I-495 (Capital Beltway) and MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) - WSSC water line replacement project - Single and double lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sundays through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Weekend lane closures are possible between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.

 

• US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) between Hollywood Road and Lackawanna Street - Private/commercial water utility work - Single and double lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late-fall.

• MD 5 (Branch Avenue) between Moores Road and MD 381 (Brandywine Road) – Resurfacing – Single lane closures Sundays through Saturday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

• Westbound US 50 (John Hanson Highway) between the Anne Arundel County Line and Lottsford Vista Road - Resurfacing – Single, double and triple lane closures Fridays through Mondays between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. and double lane closures Sundays through Thursdays between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

 

 

• MD 147 (Harford Road) at Glen Arm Road/Mt. Vista Road – Roundabout construction –Glen Arm Road is closed and detoured. Paving operations to begin October 6.

 
• MD 281 (Red Hill Road) at Muddy Lane – Roundabout construction –MD 281 and Muddy Lane are closed and detoured.

 

 

• MD 234 (Budds Creek Road) Bridge over Gilbert Swamp Run – Bridge replacement – Single lane closure guided by a temporary traffic signal until spring 2018.  

 

 

• Southbound US 13 ramp/bridge to the eastbound/southbound Salisbury Bypass–Bridge/ramp rehabilitation – Total closure and detour until late-September to expedite the work.

 

 

• Southbound MD 3 (Crain Highway) (Median) between Waugh Chapel Road and MD 175 (Millersville Road) (BGE project)–BGE electric transmission line project – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

 

 

• Southbound MD 129 (Park Heights Avenue) between MD 133 (Old Court Road) and Baltimore City line (BGE project) – BGE Gas line replacement project – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

 

• MD 404 (Queen Anne Highway/Shore Highway) between US 50 (Ocean Gateway) and MD 309 (Starr Road) and MD 480 (Ridgely Road) and the Denton Bypass – Highway widening – Single lane closures with flagging operations possible in each direction of MD 404 12 noon Mondays until 12 noon Fridays. • Inner loop and outer loop of I-495 (Capital Beltway) near the Persimmon Tree Road Bridge – Traffic counter deployment and removal – brief total 10-minute closures to install counters on Monday starting at 11 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. Tuesday to deploy. Same closures and times on Wednesday into Thursday to remove the counters. (new)

 

• MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) at Randolph Road - Interchange construction - Single lane closures in both directions of both roads, Mondays through Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and Sundays through Friday mornings between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

 

 

• Halfway Boulevard Bridge over I-81–Routine bridge inspection – Single lane closures on I-81 Sunday between 4 a.m. and 12 noon. (new)

 

• MD 144 (Western Pike) Bridge over I-68 (National Freeway) – Routine bridge inspection – Single lane closures on I-68 Monday between 4 a.m. and 12 noon. (new)

 

• I-81 between MD 63/MD 68 and the bridge over the Potomac River – Highway and bridge widening – Occasional single lane closures and flagging across the bridge from sunrise to sunset.

• I-70 between Ashton Road and Conococheague Creek Bridge – Resurfacing – Single lane and shoulder closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (new) One week remaining.

• Westbound I-70 between MD 615 and the Tonoloway Creek Bridge – Resurfacing – Single lane and shoulder closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (new) Several weeks remaining.
