Roundabout Design is Underway to Enhance Intersection Safety

What: 

The Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (SHA) invites the public to an informational workshop about improvements at the MD 223 (Piscataway Road) and Floral Park Road intersection in southern Prince George’s County.

When:  

Monday, December 7 between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Where: 

Surratts-Clinton Library - Auditorium

9400 Piscataway Road, Clinton, MD 20735

Information:  

Proposed improvements include a single-lane roundabout with right-turn lanes approaching northbound Piscataway Road and westbound Floral Park Road.  Additional pedestrian and bicycle safety enhancements will connect to the existing multi-use path just south of the intersection.
