On June 25, 2015, Governor Larry Hogan announced construction funding for the following projects. These projects are currently being developed using the Design-Build project delivery method. As more information becomes available, this website will be updated.

MD 404 from US 50 to the Denton Bypass – widening of MD 404 from a two-lane road to a four-lane divided highway with a median and shoulders to accommodate bicycles for an entire length of 11.3 miles. Procurement is anticipated to begin in Winter 2015/2016 with a construction start in Spring 2017. This will be one Design-Build contract. Construction Cost Classification L. Updated

I-270 Innovative Congestion Reduction – utilization of Active Traffic Management systems to reduce congestion along I-270 from the I-270 Y-split to I-370. Procurement start is currently to be determined. Construction Cost Classification K.

US 113 Phase 4 – upgrading US 113 from a two-lane road to four-lane divided highway with a median and shoulders to accommodate bicycles from Five Mile Branch Road to North of Public Landing Road, a distance of 4.6 miles. Procurement is anticipated to begin in Spring 2016 with a construction start in Fall 2017. Construction Cost Classification J.

US 219 – realigning US 219 north of I-68 and constructing a new interchange at I-68. Procurement is anticipated to begin in Spring 2017 with a construction start in Spring 2018. Construction Cost Classification to be determined.
