Sunday, January 8 through Thursday, January 12:
Overnight single-lane closures on northbound I-95 at I-695 Sunday – Thursday nights beginning at 7 p.m., then a double-lane closure at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next day.
There also will be closures each night on westbound and eastbound I-695 (Inner and Outer Loops) underneath I-95 Sunday – Thursday beginning with a single lane closure at 8 p.m., then a double-lane closure at 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next day.
The ramp from northbound I-95 to westbound I-695 (Inner Loop) - Exit 49A will be closed and detoured each night Sunday – Thursday beginning at 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next day. Detour Route: Proceed on northbound I-95 past I-695 to Exit 50 B, northbound Caton Ave. On northbound Caton Ave., immediately merge left and turn left at first traffic signal onto southbound I-95 and proceed on southbound I-95 to reach westbound I-695 (Inner Loop).

I-695 Bridges over Morse Lane and Norfolk Southern RR – Cleaning & Painting of Bridges - Daytime single lane closures on I-695 Inner and Outer Loops between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through mid-January to install temporary decking, shields and barriers for contractor crews to perform a bridge cleaning and painting project in early 2023.
MD 26 (Liberty Rd.) from I-695 to North Rolling Rd. – ADA Sidewalk Improvements - Overnight single lane closures along this section of Liberty Road Sundays through Thursdays between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning. Daytime single lane closures on this section of Liberty Road possible Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Calvert County
MD 231 Bridge over the Patuxent River (Benedict Bridge) - Routine bridge inspection and maintenance on Wednesday, December 11 with temporary bridge openings between 6 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
MD 4 at Mount Harmony Road – Median closure and crossover work for intersection reconstruction - Daytime single lane closure along northbound and southbound MD 4 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. if needed.
Carroll County
Springfield Ave (MD 851) between Spout Hill Road and Walnut Ave - Drainage improvement project – Single-lane closure during the work hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday so crews can safely install a new sewer manhole and pipes underneath Springfield Avenue. MDOT SHA expects the work to be complete this spring.

US 50 East and West from Old Ocean Gateway to MD 331 (Rhodesdale-Vienna Rd) - Structure replacement –Single lane and shoulder closures 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. through January. Updated

I-70 at MD 75 (Green Valley Road) – Bridge deck demolition – Single lane closure on I-70 overnight during the following hours:
• Daytime Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

I-95 Northbound Express Toll Lanes project by MDTA - Raphel Road bridge over I-95 (JFK Memorial Expressway) - MDTA closed the Raphel Road bridge through early 2023 and traffic is being detoured to the Bradshaw Road overpass.
I-70 Westbound between I-695 and the Patapsco River/Howard Co. Line – Asphalt Pavement Resurfacing and Safety Improvements – Single and double lane closures on westbound I-70 daytime Monday – Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight Sunday – Thursday 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day, through early 2023. There will also be temporary overnight interchange ramp closures and detours for paving work Sunday – Thursday nights (posted in advance on digital message boards).
I-70 Westbound and Eastbound between the Baltimore City Line and I-695 – Concrete Pavement Resurfacing – Single and double lane closures on I-70 east of I-695 weekdays Monday – Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and continuous lane and/or ramp closures on selected weekends for concrete pour and cure from 9 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Sundays, until early 2023.
I-695 Bridge over US 40 (Baltimore National Pike) - Bridge support structure rehabilitation – Crews are working on repairs to bridge piers and abutments under I-695 with long-term traffic shifts and temporary lane closures on US 40 eastbound and westbound underneath I-695 in Catonsville through early spring 2023. Updated.
I-695 North (Beltway Inner Loop) Noise Wall from MD 144 to US 40 – Construction of new noise wall – Single lane, ramp and shoulders closures possible along I-695 Inner Loop from MD 144 to Edmondson Ave. during off-peak hours when necessary for installation of noise wall. Updated
US 40 (Pulaski Highway) Dual Bridges over Little Gunpowder Falls and (Big) Gunpowder Falls - Bridge Rehabilitation – Construction work will proceed on all four bridges through spring 2023, with ongoing temporary single lane closures on eastbound and westbound US 40 in the vicinity of the bridges during the following off-peak times: Daytime (Monday – Saturday) Westbound US 40: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastbound US 40: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Overnight (Sunday – Thursday) Westbound and Eastbound US 40: 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day. Note: The weekend and weekday work with 24/7 lane closures to replace the concrete stop pad section of the right lane of the westbound US 40 approach to Joppa Farm Road scheduled for Dec. 2-9 has been postponed due to weather and now will be rescheduled to early 2023. MD 26 (Liberty Road) between Brenbrook Drive and N. Rolling Road - ADA Sidewalk Reconstruction/Upgrades - Occasional temporary overnight single lane closures on MD 26 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday - Thursday and now between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday. Updated.
MD 30 (Hanover Pike) at Rue St. Lo Drive – Slope stabilization, curb and gutter and roadway resurfacing - Lane closures on MD 30 with flagging operations 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning mid- December 2022 through late spring 2023. New
MD 43 (White Marsh Blvd.) at Honeygo Blvd. - Intersection Widening and Improvements - Temporary daytime lane closures on MD 43 and Honeygo Blvd. legs of the intersection between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Friday, and overnight lane closures at any time between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday. When necessary, there will be temporary lane closures on weekends, 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday and/or Sunday through winter 2023. Updated
MD 140 (Reisterstown Road) between I-695 and Mt. Wilson Lane/ Grey Rock Rd. with MD 140 at Hooks Lane - Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements - includes traffic signal upgrades, crosswalk markings, and paving on MD 140 and also on Hooks Lane at MD 140. Temporary daytime single lane closures on MD 140 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday – Friday and overnight single lane closures on Hooks Lane approach to MD 140 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next morning Sunday – Thursday. MD 140 (Reisterstown Rd.) between E. Pleasant Hill Rd. and Stocksdale Ave. –Resurfacing/County Water Main replacement - Daytime single lane closures Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. between E. Pleasant Hill Rd and Stocksdale Ave. Nighttime single lane closures within project limits Sunday – Thursday nights between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the next day. Access to driveways in this section will be maintained during any lane closures. Project scheduled through late summer 2024.
MD 147 (Harford Road) / Joppa Road - Intersection Improvements - Daytime single lane closures and flagging operations on Harford and Joppa Roads in the vicinity of the intersection Monday – Thursday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Fridays. Overnight work with lane closures Sunday – Thursday 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. the next day. Concrete median construction and final pavement milling and asphalt paving work on Joppa Road approaches to Harford Road as weather permits through late December 2022.
MD 151 (Sparrows Point Blvd.) / Wharf Road (MD 151 B) Interchange - Three-bridge replacement project at interchange – New traffic pattern in effect: Northbound and southbound Wharf Road (and the northern bridge) are now open to traffic between MD 158 (Bethlehem Blvd.) and the left-turn ramp to MD 151. This ramp / bridge is now open for direct access TPA. Wharf Road remains closed underneath both the MD 151 bridge (southern bridge) and the ramp bridge (middle bridge) for bridge construction through spring 2024. Bridge replacement and other construction work within the interchange scheduled to continue through summer 2024.
Charles County
US 301 between MD 227 and MD 6 – Milling, patching, paving and striping operations – Single lane closures weeknights, 8 p.m. - 5 a.m. through December 2022
MD 228 at Western Parkway – Intersection Improvements - 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday nights through Friday mornings, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.
Cecil County
MD 213 (Augustine Herman Highway) bridge over C&D Canal in Chesapeake City – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers bridge repair project. Occasional single lane closures and flagging will occur 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday-Thursday. View real-time traffic conditions at the bridge with these cameras: MD 213 at Basil Ave. (south side) and MD 213 at Lock St. (north side).
Frederick County
Northbound US 15 Bridge over MD 77 – Bridge Deck replacement project – The right lane is closed. Each side of the bridge is expected to take six to eight months to finish. The entire project is expected to be complete by spring 2023.
Harford County
I-95 Northbound Express Toll Lanes project by MDTA – Replacement of Abingdon Road Bridge over I-95. MDTA has closed the bridge and locally detoured it until spring 2023.
I-95 Northbound Express Toll Lanes project by MDTA - I-95/MD 152 Interchange Reconstruction and Park and Ride Lot Relocation - Old Park and Ride lot closed late 2021, new Park and Ride Lot scheduled for completion late 2025. Construction of the NB I-95 roadway began spring 2021 and is anticipated to be complete fall 2024.
Howard County
MD 94 bridge over I-70 - Bridge deck replacement project - Northbound MD 94 lane is closed.
Montgomery County
MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) from north of Gold Mine Road to south of Holiday Drive - MD 97 relocation project. Intermittent off-peak single and multiple lane closures, weekdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through year-end 2022.
Brookeville Road from MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) to Grayheaven Manor Road. Sewer relocation project. Full 24/7 road closure with detour through late fall 2022. Drivers should add extra commute time and use MD 97 and MD 108 as alternate routes.
Brighton Dam Road near MD 97 (Georgia Avenue). MD 97 relocation project excavation and new road resurfacing work. Off-road activity with an intermittent off-peak flagging operation and single lane closures, Sunday through Saturday from sunrise to sunset through year-end 2022.
MD 108 (Olney Sandy Spring Road) from Olney Mill Road to Brooke Road. Safety and resurfacing project. Off-peak single daytime lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 8 p.n. to 5 a.m. through late summer 2023.

Southbound I-270 between I-70 and I-495 (Capital Beltway) - Traffic congestion relief construction project - Intermittent single lane closures, weekdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and single, double, and triple overnight lane closures, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and intermittent temporary ramp closures with detours up to 24 hours a day through late summer 2023.

Queen Anne’s County
US 301 (Blue Star Memorial Highway) between MD 291 and Pfalzgroff Lane – Bridge replacement. US 301 is reduced to one lane in each direction through Fall 2023. Northbound traffic is being shifted across the median to run on one lane of the southbound alignment. This is an ASE (Automated Speed Enforcement) work zone with a reduced speed limit of 45 mph.
Talbot County
MD 33 (Talbot St.) from Spencer Ave. to Lee St. in St. Michaels - Sidewalk project. Occasional single-lane closures and flagging 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Thursday through spring 2023.
Washington County
Eastbound and westbound I-70 at the MD 65 (Sharpsburg Pike) – Bridge rehabilitation and widening of I-70 bridges over MD 65 – Motorists should expect periodic shoulder work and nighttime lane closures.
