(April 14, 2022) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will hold a virtual pre-construction informational meeting 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21, on interchange improvements planned at MD 175 (Jessup Road/Annapolis Road) over MD 295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway) in Anne Arundel County. Work is scheduled to begin this spring and be completed by summer 2025.

This $74.7 million project will build upon efforts in recent years to increase roadway capacity along MD 175, improve traffic operations and enhance the safety of pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists. The improvements will also support existing and planned development, including the revitalization of the North Odenton commercial district.

At the April 21 virtual Microsoft Teams meeting, MDOT SHA project team members will provide the public project details and answer project-related questions. The public is encouraged to submit comments prior to the meeting via the comment form on the Project's Portal page.

The MDOT SHA meeting link and project information are available at: https://bit.ly/MDOTSHA-MD-175-MD-295-Interchange-Improvements. The comment link also allows residents to sign up for emails and other project updates.

Customers may also call +1-667-262-2962, using phone Conference ID: 934 908 069# to participate in the meeting (audio only). Those who wish to listen by phone will be able to hear the presenters and discussion but will be unable to see the presentation.
