MDOT ANNOUNCES INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRY FORUM FOR I-495 & I-270 P3 PROGRAM

December 13th Event to Bring P3 Transportation Industry to Maryland
 
(November 15, 2018) – The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) today announced it will hold an international industry forum for the I-495 and I-270 Public-Private Partnership (P3) Program on December 13, 2018 at the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport.  Registration is required for the forum, scheduled from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., and is open to industry professionals at no cost. 

MDOT Secretary Pete K. Rahn will kick off the forum with remarks to welcome the industry in the morning. MDOT State Highway Administrator Greg Slater and P3 Program Director Lisa Choplin will present the status of the I-495 and I-270 P3 Program including the opportunities for small, disadvantaged, minority and women-owned businesses in the P3 solicitation process. 

In conjunction with the international industry forum, MDOT will hold one-on-one meetings with potential concessionaires and prime contractors interested in the P3 Program on December 13 and December 14, 2018.  Information on qualifications and how firms may apply to participate in these meetings is available in the Presolicitation Information Memorandum.
