Construction Scheduled to Start Spring 2019;Three Interchange Ramp Closures to Occur During Construction

What: 

The Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will host an informational meeting about an upcoming project to replace the two I-495 bridges over MD 214 (Central Avenue) in Prince George’s County.

Tuesday, June 19, 2018 between 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
 
Where:   
 
Largo High School, 505 Largo Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20774
 
Information:  

Construction crews will replace the two structurally deficient I-495 bridges. Staging involves multiple phases of work that will include the temporary closures of three interchange ramps throughout the project. 

Attendees may arrive at any time and review displays, meet the project team and ask questions.  The project advertises for construction later this month, and active construction work will begin spring 2019.
