Motorists Should Expect Overnight Single-Lane Closures with Flagging Operations Through Late-November
(August 26, 2022) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is beginning pavement improvements on
MD 138 between north of the MD 138 (Shepperd Road) / MD 562 (Troyer Road) intersection and the Harford County line in the White Hall area of Baltimore County.
Work will begin Sunday, August 28, and will consist of single-lane closures between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., Sunday nights through Friday mornings. Crews will use a flagging operation to guide motorists safely through the work zone. The project is expected to be complete by late-November, weather permitting.
MDOT SHA contractor Allan Myers – MD Inc., of Fallston, is performing the work. Customers who have questions about these work locations may contact the MDOT SHA District 4 Office – Maintenance Division at 410-229-2300, or toll-free at 1-866-998-0367.
MDOT SHA works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers. Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving, and look for reduced speed limits as well as other driving pattern changes. Please drive like you work here and slow down in construction zones. Motorists in need may dial #77 on their mobile device for roadside assistance.
