(December 6, 2017) - UPDATE – 4:00 p.m. - 12/6/17:  The right lane on the inner loop of I-695 between I-95 and Westland Boulevard, as well as the left lane on the common ramp (northbound and southbound I-95) to the inner loop of I-695, continues to be closed for unplanned urgent construction (temperature sensitive paving).  This will continue through the evening commute until approximately 9 p.m., at which time crews will close two of the three lanes on the I-95 common ramp to the inner loop of I-695 up to Westland Boulevard. By 5 a.m. Thursday, crews will switch back to a single right lane closure on the ramp and on the inner loop I-695 between I-95 and Westland Blvd. This will continue all day and possibly into the Thursday evening commute.

MAJOR DELAYS EXPECTED DURING PEAK HOURS on the inner loop of I-695 and the approaches to I-695 on the following roads:  US 1 (Southwestern Boulevard), I-95, US 1 Alternate (Washington Boulevard), Hollins Ferry Road, I-895 (Harbor Tunnel Thruway), MD 168 (Nursery Road), MD 295 (Baltimore Washington Parkway), MD 170 (Camp Meade Road), MD 648 (Baltimore Annapolis Blvd.), I-97, MD 10 (Arundel Expressway) and MD 2 (Ritchie Highway.)
